Our friends over at Revolution Golf just turned us on to Kinovea the awesome, full-featured, swing analysis software that is TOTALLY FREE. If you click on the link below you will see a simple example of the swing analysis you can do with Kinovea.
The only two drawbacks we can see are that it only works on Windows (sorry Mac owners you’ll have to own a Windows license and use it in Bootcamp) and it does not automatically store the videos in an online locker you can share with your pro, but you can fix that by using Dropbox.com, Box.com, or any of the many other cloud storage services.
You can download this free open-source Windows software at http://kinovea.org. Additionally, you can search Youtube for some of the many instructional videos other have published to teach you have to use this software. A good place to start is the Kinovea Youtube Channel.
